- Event registration, attendance or volunteer information if registration or volunteer features are offered.

- Information provided through cookies that are necessary for website administration, security or proper operation.
Please do not send sensitive personal information through the website unless the council specifically requests it and explains why it is needed.

Saint John Council 4866 may take photographs at council, parish and community events to document and promote its activities. Selected photographs may be published on this website, in council publications or through council-approved communication channels.
Whenever reasonably possible, attendees will be notified when photography is taking place. Anyone who does not wish to be photographed may notify the photographer or a council representative.
The council will seek specific permission before publishing a close-up photograph together with a person’s name. An identifiable photograph of a child will not be intentionally featured without permission from the child’s parent or legal guardian.
Anyone may ask the council to review or remove a photograph in which they are identifiable. Requests should be sent to the Privacy Contact. The council will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
7. Children’s information
The website is intended to provide general information about the council and its activities. It is not designed to collect personal information directly from children.
A parent or legal guardian should provide any registration or consent information required for a child. The council will take additional care when handling or publishing information about children.

The website contains links to parish, diocesan, Knights of Columbus and other external websites. The council does not control these websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices.
Visitors should review the privacy policy of an external website before providing personal information to it.
12. Protecting information
The council uses reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. These may include:
